How soon can somebody come?

Emergencies — flooding, sewage escaping, no working toilet — are attended the same day, and as quick as 30 minutes when the nearest van is free. Everything else is usually offered a slot within one to two working days.

Do you work weekends and nights?

Yes, every day of the year. Out-of-hours rates are higher and we will tell you what they are on the call rather than letting you discover it on the invoice.

Is the drain my responsibility or the water company's?

Generally, pipework that serves only your property is yours; once it is shared with neighbours or crosses the boundary it is usually the water company's. We will tell you which applies even when the answer means there is no job in it for us.

Can I claim on insurance?

Often, particularly for sudden damage, root ingress or escape of water. Our survey reports and footage are produced so they can be handed straight to an insurer, and we can assist you with the claim.

Do you clean up afterwards?

Yes. Hard surfaces are hosed down, internal work is sheeted before we start, and waste leaves with us. You should not be able to tell we were there apart from the drain working.

What payment do you take?

Card or bank transfer on completion for domestic work. Commercial accounts can be set up on agreed terms.

Are your engineers checked?

Yes — trained, insured, and DBS-checked where a site requires it, such as schools and care homes. Certificates go to your site manager before the first visit.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. Senior citizens and NHS staff get 20% off. Just mention it when you call and have some ID handy for the engineer.
